Description I was awakened this May Morning by the sound of the first cuckoo I have heard this season, so I leapt out of bed and stuck my voice recorder out of the window. Then I sat up in bed and recorded a reading of my paraphrase of Dafydd ap Gwilym's fourteenth century Welsh poem, 'May Month'. After that, I went out with my camera to walk in one of the beech hangers on the downs. This slide show is the result.
Well I've finally beaten this website and all its pitfalls and successfully registered and logged in. Not an easy task, it is not a user friendly site and the webmaster should look at this. Regarding your video, it's great ! The Dafydd ap Gwilym paraphrase works so well with your image sequence and I love the birdsong recordings.

Thanks, Mike - I'm glad somebody likes it!
Somebody obviously doesn't - only one star :o( A strange trade for all the five-star ratings I've given out on this site, and not terribly encouraging.
Exits bashing his head and repeating, "Must try harder... Must try harder..."
